Experience the traditional charm of Louisiana architecture with these gravity-locking shutter hinges. Cast from premium 304 stainless steel, these hinges combine historic design with modern durability to deliver exceptional strength and corrosion resistance.
The gravity-locking mechanism automatically holds shutters in the open position, tilted slightly back toward the house, eliminating the need for separate holdbacks. Each hinge and pintle features a 1 1/4″ offset, providing a total 2 1/2″ throw for proper shutter clearance. The double-locking pintles secure shutters in the open position until manually lifted and turned, while also preventing removal unless shutters are precisely positioned.
Set includes four 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ hinges and four matching pintles, designed for mounting pintles to the inner window jamb and hinges to the shutter stile. Complete with 24 black stainless steel flathead screws for a clean, professional installation.
