Our Louvered Pine Wood Shutters are designed with a 1.75-inch louver size and a sturdy build, using only the highest quality kiln-dried pine. They are primed with a grey tint to enhance paint adherence, which may need light sanding prior to painting. As pine is prone to moisture damage, we suggest cedar for more humid or coastal areas. To ensure durability, regular sealing and painting are advised. These shutters can be mounted fixedly with clear Lexan hardware, as decorative elements, or as functional shutters with recommended triple hinges for increased support on shutters exceeding 45 inches.
